FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your signature services?

While I practice many types of art and design, my primary service is branding design. The bulk of my clients are small- to medium-sized businesses or entrepreneurs requiring either a first time brand or a brand refresh. After designing a brand, I often continue to work with clients to implement their brand into marketing collateral design, packaging design, and other various needs.

What does ‘branding’ include?

I’m a firm believer that telling a clear brand story and putting forth a consistent brand aesthetic will set you up to be a more trustworthy business and attract a more loyal and long-lasting audience. A full brand design includes a suite of logo designs, an official brand color palette, official brand fonts, and a branding style guide.

I already have a logo. Can you just design my collateral?

It depends. I feel there is nothing more important for your business than a strong, well-designed brand identity and consistent aesthetic. With a strong brand identity established, your website, collateral, and other materials come together more cohesively as clear extensions and representations of your business. Get in touch to discuss whether this is something you already have or if there is work we can do to get you there before moving into the website and/or collateral design.

Do you design anything other than brands?

Absolutely. I practice a wide range of art and design and love to exercise my various skills. I’ve designed wedding invitations, corporate reports, event materials, wine bottle labels, childrens’ illustrations...the list goes on. If you have a design need aside from branding, feel free to reach out to see if we’re a fit for each other.

How long does it take to design a brand with you?

My branding process is thorough, typically taking between 5-8 weeks. We will begin with my signature brand planning workbook that allows you to share all about your business, digging deep into your vision, goals and aesthetic. We’ll then move into a brand strategy phase that establishes exactly what feelings and attitudes your branding should evoke to best reach your target audience, and I’ll design a mood board to drive the brand’s aesthetic. From there, I will design initial concepts for your review, and we will revise as necessary until final. The number of initial concepts and rounds of reviews will depend on our contract.

What’s it like to work with you?

I work with only a handful of clients at a time in order to devote the focus required to each project. I build project timelines for each project that outlines all delivery dates for both parties, so we’re always on the same page and know what to expect from one another. I am a strong advocate for every brand and client with whom I work and feel a responsibility and dedication to making your brand best represent your business and reach your target audience. This is why I only present concepts I stand behind and always offer honest feedback backed with reason. Read the kind words from a few of my other clients to see what others are saying.

How much does it cost to work with you?

I practice a fluid pricing model, which means I estimate project fees using my hourly design rate and my client’s specific needs. Full branding projects typically range from 1,750 - 5,000 depending on the scope of deliverables. Get in touch to discuss your project and receive a pricing proposal that meets your specific needs.
